In 1970, a young man named Surya Kumar Mourya opened a business in India and called it Anand Enterprises. He had little more than his name and his word, and both had to be good enough. They were. More than fifty years later the company still trades, still under the same family, and still on the same terms.
A business like that keeps a different kind of ledger. Not a record of what was sold, but of who came back — the customer who returned a decade later with something harder, the man who was helped once and sent his neighbour, the family that has now dealt with us across two generations. Everything else in this group was built on that ledger, and it is still the only asset we count.
His children grew up around that business, and then went out into the world — into steel and heavy industry, building materials, construction sites, hiring, travel and teaching. They learned their trades inside other people's companies, in India, the Gulf, Britain and Europe, and their work has since reached factories, projects and families across Asia, the Middle East, the Americas and beyond. That is a slower way to learn. It is also a more honest one.
They came back one at a time. The elder son first, then the younger, and in time the wives who joined the family and brought professions of their own. Nobody was placed in a role; each brought the trade they had already spent a career learning.
In 2026 they brought the work back together under one name. Sasa Global is that decision: the Indian house our founder still leads, a European practice run from France, and a small group of specialists who work wherever they are needed and only where they know what they are doing.
We are not trying to become large. We would rather be the people you call a second time, and the ones you send your friends to.
